What are your choices for: Artist of the Year, Song of the Year, Most Promising New Artist?
Rich Davis, KDWB: Taylor Swift, “Calm Down,” Jelly Roll.
Valentine, WBHT: Taylor Swift, Doja as runner-up. For song I’m torn but will choose “Calm Down.” However, I need to shout out to Miguel for bringing back an old song and killing it in 2023. Jana Sutter, WXXL: Taylor Swift, “Cruel Summer,” Ice Spice.
Toby Knapp, WASH: Taylor Swift, “ Anti-Hero,” Travis Kelce.

Jon Zellner, iHeartMedia: Taylor Swift, “Flowers,” Jelly Roll. Rick Vaughn, KENZ: Dua Lipa, “Chemical,” Raye. Jonathan Shuford, WRVW: Taylor Swift. Song is close: “Flowers” is (1A), “Cruel Summer” is (1B). I think Jelly Roll is going to stick around in Pop for a while. Also, she’s not a new artist, but 2024 is going to be the year of Tate Mcrae. Randi West, WRMF: Taylor Swift. I think Teddy Swims is exciting and the real deal. Java Joel, WHBC: Taylor Swift. Pop culture-wise, it’s fair to say she’s reaching Sinatra/Beatles/MJ level. “Flowers,” Zach Bryan. C’mon radio. Get on it. Dude can write. Tommy Chuck, WFLZ: Taylor Swift, “Calm Down,” Teddy Swims.
Buster, WIOQ: Taylor Swift, “Vampire,” Noah Kahan. |
Adam Rivers, WKCI / WKSS: Taylor Swift, all Taylor Swift songs, Noah Kahan JB King, KLUC: Taylor Swift, “Flowers,” Coi Leray Bob Patrick, WXLK: Taylor Swift, “Flowers,” Jelly Roll. Erik Bradley, B96: Taylor Swift, “Flowers,” Tate McRae – if she’s still considered new, if Jammer, WEZB: Taylor Swift, “Cruel Summer” Jessie Murph. Heather Deluca, WSJO: Taylor Swift is Artist of the Year, hands down. “Cruel Summer” but if we’re talking current, like 2023, “Dance The Night.” Jelly Roll is Most Promising New Artist. Guy Zapoleon, Zapoleon Consulting: Taylor Swift, “Flowers,” Noah Kahan. |
