What general cliché in life are you completely burned out on and would like to see banned for life?

Mike McCoy, WNCI: I absolutely hate “At the end of the day,” and the overuse of the word “pivot” when it comes to corporate-speak. I also hate “WOKE,” I have my own little acronym for that: WithOut Knowledge or Experience.

Jonathan Reed, WNOK: “It is what it is,” sounds hopeless and needs to be replaced by what really needs to be said. Like, “this situation is bull#%it and if I had better options available I would be out of this mofo.”

Mike McVay, Cumulus Media: “The future is now.”  If it is NOW…it is the present.

Fish Boy, WKRZ: “It is what it is,” because we all know that 90% of the time it really is not!

Valentine, WBHT: “It is what it is!” OMG, kill me!

Gina Gray, WERO: “Do as I say, and not as I do.”

Chris Michaels, FM100: “Awesomesauce.”

Toby Knapp, WASH: To pick one would be impossible but they usually start with the word HASHTAG or MAGICAL…

Bob Patrick, WXLK: “What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas!”

Java Joel, WAKS: “Letting callout totally dictate your radio station.” Can we ban that for life?

Buster, WFLZ: “It is what it is” or anything tied to complacency.

Jammer, WEZB: “At the end of the day.”

Chris K, The End: I’m over, “I can’t even,” because you can.

Jeremy Rice, WBLI: Trump!

Rick Vaughn, Power 94.9: Brainstorm! I could go the rest of my life without ever hearing the word brainstorm again. I hate it when somebody says, ‘we need to brainstorm on this.”

Brian Michel, iHeartMedia / Atlanta: Being outraged by everything.  It’s as if “outrage” is the new currency. Okay great, you’re offended. Now what? Be an adult and move on with your life.

Kobi, WNRW / WLGX: For me, “You don’t sound black on the radio.” What does black sound like?! and more a thought then anything for us as a collective group of DJs and those who think “you just go in and talk on the radio for four hours and go home.”

Jimmy Steal, Power 106:At the end of the day.”

Matt Johnson, KSLZ: “It is what it is.” What the eff does that mean? Nothing is the answer!

Sue O’Neil, WKSE: It’s number one at Alternative. It’s Shazamming.

Kobe, WWHT: When people use the term “uber” as a superlative to describe something.

Mike “OD” O’Donnell, WKRZ: “Benefit of the doubt.” Yea I think I’ve had about enough of that one!

Jeff Hurley, WLAN: I’m sick and tired of everyone having to have a personal brand.

Jon Zellner, iHeartMedia: #blessed. We’re all blessed. And you’re not any more blessed because of the photo you just posted.

Alex Tear, Y100: Brainstorm!

Derrick “DC” Cole, WAEB: “It is what it is.” Just a general acceptance to whatever the situation is, implying you can’t change the outcome. I don’t accept that as an answer.

Orlando, WLLD: Every cloud has a silver lining. No the HELL they don’t! Every cloud has dark days and storms. Silver linings are HARD to find! BTW, waking up early has never produced a worm, for this AM radio bird!
