What new music have you heard recently has you excited as we start getting geared up for the Fall of 2018?
 Jon Zellner, iHeartMedia: I’m excited about new music from Mike Posner, David Guetta/Anne Marie, Alec Benjamin, Brianna and Lauv/Julia Michaels.
Jeff Hurley, WLAN: I like the new Panic! At The Disco, especially for us I think it’s going to be a solid record. I feel that LovelyTheBand will be big through Fall, I also like the Marshmello & Bastille I think this will get a lot of people excited. Matt Johnson, KSLZ: Mike Posner “Sad,” Calvin Harris/Sam Smith “Promises,” Panic! At The Disco “High Hopes,” Nina Nesbitt “Loyal To Me.” Mike McCoy, WNCI: I’m very excited about the new Miquel, really like his voice. The new Mike Posner is very good, I’m very high on it. And for us the new Panic! At The Disco and Imagine Dragons singles will both be huge for us this Fall.
Kevin Kash, WIYY: From the rock world, rock in not dead. Royal Blood, Greta Van Fleet, new Halestorm, Ghost, Three Days Grace. Kobi, WNRW/WLGX: Bazzi, Lil Duval “Smile (Living My Best Life),” Anne-Marie, Juice WRLD and benny blanco. Jammer, WEZB: LovelyTheBand “Broken,” Logic, Bazzi, and Dan + Shay “Tequila.” |
Miguel “Mijo” Irizarry, WPOW: Living in Miami it’s a little tough to get excited for the Fall season with that said I immediately thought of my Northeast friends when I heard Calvin Harris & Sam Smith “Promises.”

Mase, CD1025: I’m really into the LUC record right now. Also just added Pretty Vicious that I like a lot. Maybe it’s because they play these weird instruments called guitars.  Kobe, WWHT: I like The Chainsmokers a lot. I think their back to the form that made them who they are. I like the new Calvin Harris/Sam Smith, very cool track. I also like the direction the Urban product is going like with the Ella Mai.
Rick Vaughn, Power 94.9: I love this Knocks track that is at Alternative right now. I’ll cross it to KENZ sooner than later. I also dig the Logic/Tedder. And I’m interested to see what Juice WRLD has to follow up “Lucid Dreams.” Fish Boy, WKRZ: Panic! at the Disco will be huge for us. It’s a smash. Weezer “Africa” is working really well and will continue to do so. Drake “In My Feelings” will be big right through the Fall, and I’m really into the Calvin Harris & Sam Smith. Todd Shannon, WAPE: I like the new Marshmello x Bastille a lot, great song. The new Panic! At The Disco track is real fun and catchy and shows strong promise.

Jonathan Shuford, WRVW: Panic! at the Disco and Anne-Marie “2002” are already out and will be hits, but watch for new Mike Posner, Lauv, and David Guetta tracks.
Java Joel, WAKS: The Travis Scott album gives me renewed faith in hip-hop. And I LOVE the Panic! At The Disco track “High Hopes”. Just the type of mainstream pop/rock CHR needs right now. All about the rhythmic stuff, but a little balance goes a long way!
