What was your last purchase that was worth every penny?

R Dub!, Z90/Magic 92.5: 11 acres of glorious desert! #slowjamastan

Matt Johnson, WPLW: Ask my wife… She buys everything!

Bob Patrick, WXLK: The Apple Air Tag. It helps me every time I lose my keys.

Jammer, WEZB: My new car… Love it, it’s a Telsa.

Hitman Haze, KHTS / KMYI: The ankle ice pack from amazon for tendonitis in my Achilles.

Rich Davis, KDWB: I have just over 4 acres and the John Deere 60” Zero turn I’ve had for a while is an absolute must!

Erik Bradley, B96: Anything BMW car-wise. Sonos audio products and the iPhone

Drew Heyman, WHYI: I bought a bunch of clothes recently on a Chinese website for not a lot of money and surprisingly they all fit!

Guy Zapoleon, Zapoleon Consulting: We moved into a condo in 2018, and the week we moved we lost our power at our old house for 5 days. So knowing people in our area do lose power from time to time (costing time at work-during my time at iHeart), food going bad, sleep) we made a full house generator purchase #1 on our add on. We’ve lost power over 20 times since then, generally for at least a day each time, best purchase we made.

Buster Satterfield, WIOQ: This new house!

Mike Klein, WZFT: The Roadcaster Pro for sure! I can work from anywhere.

Adam Rivers, WKCI / WKSS: My current ElectroVoice speakers for mobile/wedding DJing. Bought in 2008. 15 years later, I’ve only had to replace one cone and they still sound great. It was a massive risk/expense at the time, but they’ve paid for themselves a hundred times over.

Heather Deluca, WSJO: Taylor Swift The Eras Tour tickets! Hands downnnnnn worth every penny.

Toby Knapp, WASH: My room at Morning Show Boot Camp. These days, it’s on us to pick and choose when it comes to investment in self. For me, Boot Camp – and Radiodays NA – have really helped me to remember who I am, why I’m here (in all ways) and where we need to go, why we need SAG-AFTRA on a National Level, and where WE, together, can go if we are selfless, less “I” or “Me” or “My” and more “We, Us, and YOU…” I’d not have had this nectar had I not been a both industry events. Good for the soul.

Dom Theodore, Radio Animal Media Strategies: This is such a douchey answer, but it’s true. I bought a new dock for the lake this year. Worth every penny.

Rick Vaughn, KENZ: Weber Grill roughly 25 years ago. Wasn’t cheap but it looks brand new. Has been through tailgates at Gillette Stadium, The Linc, Soldier Field, other random things it should have been destroyed at. And hundreds if not thousands of meals at home.

Jon Zellner, iHeartMedia: Robotic pool cleaner…changed my life!

Jeff Hurley, iHeartMedia: Bought an Andis foil razor at the recommendation of my barber. It’s so good! I never liked electric razors, but this is all I use now. Best 70 bucks I’ve spent.

Fish, WKRZ: My back-up internet system. It really comes in handy, especially this summer!

Jana Sutter, WXXL: I do a lot of traveling by air, so I guess my new luggage.

Valentine, WBHT: The last purchase that was worth every cent is this Starbucks latte I’m sipping on right now. I’m dragging this week and now I’m ready to turn that hustle on.

Skywalker, WSPK: My last purchase that was worth every penny was my oil change. While I was getting my oil changed, I was bored and had an urge to go to the casino next door. I did and won $750.
