Jeff Hurley, WHKF: Metallica Master of Puppets, I spent hours with this on my headphones trying to mimic Lars on my drumkit. There’s 15 years of muscle memory build up from all the time I spent playing along with this album. I will furiously air-drum every song to this day. The Crystal Method Vegas, the first time I heard this album it completely changed the way I looked at electronic/dance. This was my gateway drug to Prodigy, Lo-Fidelity All Stars, Propellerheads and so many other artists that defined my late 90’s-2000’s playlists. Eric Church Chief, very few albums are a perfect snapshot of the artist, this is one of them. You completely understand the songwriting and persona of Eric after listening to this album.

Gina Gray, WERO: Coldplay X & Y, Fleetwood Mac Rumours, Sarah McLachlan Fumbling Towards Ecstasy.

Terry Stevens, WOZZ: 1) Anthrax – Among the Living – THE band that got me in to metal. 2) Brainiac – Bonsai Superstar – Very experimental rock/indie/punk/alt band.  I love it when artists push the envelope and make sounds that are new to everyone instead of sticking with the same tired genre conventions. 3) Run the Jewels – Run the Jewels 2 – Really, you could put any of their 3 albums in this slot.  I’ve always been more partial to the hip hop/rap that doesn’t make it to radio. Killer Mike and El-P do it better than most.

Heather Deluca, WSJO: I’m going to say the Xanadu movie soundtrack because it’s such an eclectic collection of pop and rock, and in my opinion some of Electric Light Orchestra’s most compelling songs. 1989 by Taylor Swift and Hysteria by Def Leppard.

Big Rob, KSME: I’ll be honest, it’s been a while since I’ve listened to an entire album start to finish. My favorite album of all time though, and the only one in its entirety, is the Black Album by Metallica. Rock on!
