iHeartMedia Miami has announced the debut of PK’s Throwback 105.5 Hip Hop and R&B, effective immediately. PK’s Throwback 105.5 will kick off with commercial free music for 105 Days featuring Old Skool music from Bell Biv DeVoe, Mary J Blige, Notorious B.I.G., 2Pac, Luke, Jay Z, Lauryn Hill and more.

WMIB-FM 1035 The Beat’s Afternoon Drive on air personality Papa Keith is the driving force behind PK’s Throwback 105.5 and has very strong ties to South Florida and the Hip Hop and R&B communities. Papa Keith first honed his skills in hip-hop and reggae clubs and built up his name in the streets. He was given a show on Miami’s most notorious underground station Mixx 96, which set off his career in radio after appearing regularly on the wildly popular “The Luke Show”. Papa Keith showcases his unique ability of being able to relate to a wide audience on a daily basis in South Florida. His high energy, love of Hip-Hop and passion for Caribbean music has made an impact on South Florida radio and night clubs.

“I’m so excited to share my music memories on this new station,” said Papa Keith. “My listeners will get to hear another side of me.”

“We’re excited to launch PK’s Throwback 105.5 and throw it back in the now with Papa Keith,” said Alex Tear, Region Senior Vice President of Programming. “Get ready for the ultimate Old Skool Playlist!”
