Maroon 5 have announced their seventh album, Jordi, due out June 11. Speaking to Ellen DeGeneres today on her talk show, singer Adam Levine revealed the title is a tribute to their late manager, Jordan Feldstein, who died in 2017 of a pulmonary embolism at only 40 years old.
According to Billboard, Levine told Ellen that the group “thought there was no better tribute than to name the album after our boy.”
Jordi features their current hit single, the Megan Thee Stallion collaboration “Beautiful Mistakes.” To celebrate the upcoming album release, Maroon 5 is partnering with American Express for the virtual performance “American Express UNSTAGED with Maroon 5” on June 4, featuring new music from the album.
Jordi will include the previous single “Nobody’s Love” and the 2019 single “Memories.”
