Foo Fighters

After releasing the new single “Run” and its accompanying video, it was just a matter of time before the Foo Fighters officially announced a new album. Titled Concrete and Gold, it arrives September 15 via Roswell/RCA and was produced by Greg Kurstin.

Speaking to BBC Radio 1 about the album, Dave Grohl teased that Concrete and Gold will feature contributions from a number of special guests. He added that “There’s one who is probably the biggest pop star in the world and– I’m not kidding– sings backup on one of the heaviest songs on the record and we’re not telling anybody who it is.”

Concrete and Gold is available for pre-order in a variety of bundles from foofighters.com.

The Foos also announced a fall tour of North America, promising more dates will be added. On top of that, they’re headlining the Cal Jam ’17 festival, which also features Queens of the Stone Age, Cage the Elephant, Liam Gallagher, The Killers, Royal Blood, Japandroids and many more. Cal Jam ’17 takes place October 7 in San Bernardino, CA at Glen Helen Regional Park & Festival Grounds.
