City of Hope‘s Music, Film and Entertainment’s 2022 Spirit of Life Gala is set to present its Spirit of Life Award. Their most prestigious honor has celebrated an esteemed community of industry leaders around the world who have made a significant commitment to improving the lives of others through the advancement of research and clinical innovation and the delivery of personalized, compassionate care.
This year’s gala will honor Republic Records founders Monte & Avery Lipman on Thursday, October 27 outdoors at the Pacific Design Center in West Hollywood, CA. The evening will also feature a special musical performance by Jack Johnson.
Honorees are selected for their notable contributions to the community in which they live and the profession in which they work. Past Music, Film and Entertainment Industry Group recipients include Sylvia Rhone, Jon Platt, Mo Ostin, Clive Davis, Quincy Jones, Frances W. Preston, Shelli and Irving Azoff, Edgar Bronfman Jr., Doug Morris and Sir Lucian Grainge.
