After teasing new music last year and announcing a new single, “Flowers,” on New Year’s Eve, Miley Cyrus has revealed she will release her eighth studio album, Endless Summer Vacation, on March 18. Cyrus hosted her on New Year’s special on NBC last weekend, Miley’s New Year’s Eve Party, when she announced that “Flowers” will arrive on January 13 and shared bits of the tune as well.
Recorded in Los Angeles and produced with Kid Harpoon, Greg Kurstin, Mike WiLL Made-It and Tyler Johnson, Cyrus describes Endless Summer Vacation as “her love letter to L.A.”
Miley’s New Year’s Eve Party was co-hosted by Cyrus’ godmother, new Rock Hall of Famer Dolly Parton, and featured performances and appearances from Sia, Latto, Rae Sremmurd, David Byrne, Liily and Fletcher as well as Paris Hilton, and Saturday Night Live‘s Chloe Fineman, Sarah Sherman and comedy trio Please Don’t Destroy.
