SiriusXM today announced the return of Mental Health Radio on channel 104. In observance of Mental Health Awareness Month, the channel is available on radios starting today through the end of May. Powered by NYU Langone Health’s doctors and leading medical experts, the channel will also air its top highlights throughout Memorial Day Weekend.
Featuring content from SiriusXM’s Doctor Radio (Ch. 110), Mental Health Radio is a 24/7 channel that provides listeners expertise on breaking medical stories and new medical research, plus studies on topics such as substance abuse, psychedelic research, and drug supply issues. The channel also hosts live call-in shows during the week, letting listeners ask the experts their own questions. In addition to the curated content, the channel will also air full broadcasts of the Doctor Radio programs “The Psychiatry Show” and “About Our Kids,” the latter of which specifically addresses the mental health topics that impact children and teens.
Mental Health Radio will also air special programming throughout Memorial Day Weekend, which includes highlights from the channel’s first six months, including interviews with the Surgeon General Dr. Vivek Murthy on loneliness, as well as segments on children’s mental health, stress, anxiety, ADHD, and more.
