iHeartMedia Boston noted on-air personality Matty Siegel is celebrating 40 years on WXKS / Kiss 108’s “Matty in the Morning.” The station began the celebration this morning with 40 hours of highlights from Matty’s legendary career and well wishes from celebrities including Gwen Stefani, Billie Eilish, Selena Gomez, Joe McIntyre, David Ortiz, Ryan Seacrest and more.
As part of the celebration, the Mayor of Boston proclaimed today “Matty in the Morning Day” in Boston and the Governor of Massachusetts issued a citation in recognition of Siegel’s dedication to entertaining and supporting the city of Boston. Venues all over Boston, including TD Garden, The House of Blues, Big Night Live, Wilbur Theatre and more saluted Siegel with congratulatory messages.
