Columbia Records has promoted Lisa Sonkin to Senior Vice President of Triple A and Public Radio Promotion, it was announced today by Lee Leipsner, Executive Vice President of Promotion for Columbia. Previously, Lisa was Vice President of Triple A and Public Radio Promotion for the label.
“Lisa is one of the most trusted and respected promotion executives in our business,” stated Leipsner. “She’s led our Triple A department to unprecedented heights, becoming part of the fabric of our overall success. I’ve enjoyed working with her immensely and know that the entire Columbia Records team joins me in congratulating her on this well-deserved promotion.”

Throughout her tenure at Columbia Records, Lisa has worked with some of the label’s most prolific multi-platinum artists and hitmakers including Adele, Hozier, Leon Bridges, John Mayer, HAIM, George Ezra, Broken Bells, Rag ‘n’ Bone Man, The Shins, Bob Dylan, Bruce Springsteen, First Aid Kit, Jack White and many others.
Lisa joined Columba Records in 2008 following four years at Epic Records as Vice President of Triple A Promotion. From 1993 to 2004, Lisa worked at Elektra Records where she helped promote groundbreaking artists including Tracy Chapman, Natalie Merchant, Jason Mraz, Phish and others.
