Taylor Swift, Rihanna and Lady Gaga were all announced this morning as nominees for the 2023 Golden Globe Awards. All three artists are up for Best Original Song – Motion Picture. Swift is nominated for “Carolina” from Where the Crawdads Sing, Rihanna’s nomination is for “Lift Me Up,” her contribution to Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, and Lady Gaga’s is for “Hold My Hand” from Top Gun: Maverick. The other nominees in the category are “Ciao Papa” from Guillermo del Toro’s Pinocchio and “Naatu Naatu” from RRR.
The 2022 Golden Globe for Best Original Song – Motion Picture went to Billie Eilish and Finneas for “No Time to Die.” This year’s Golden Globe Awards will air on NBC on Tuesday, January 10.
