Lady Gaga tops the nominees for the 2020 MTV EMA (Europe Music Awards), which will be handed out on Sunday, November 8. Overall, Gaga earned seven nominations, including Best Video, Best Song and Best Collaboration, all for “Rain on Me,” her duet with Ariana Grande from her recent album Chromatica. In August, Gaga was the big winner at MTV’s VMAs Stateside, with five overall, as well as the special Tricon Award.
BTS and Justin Bieber tied for the second-most nods, with five each.
The Best Video nominees are Billie Eilish for “everything i wanted,” Cardi B f/Megan Thee Stallion for “WAP,” DJ Khaled f/Drake for “Popstar,” Karol G f/Nicki Minaj for “Tusa,” Lady Gaga and Ariana Grande for “Rain on Me,” Taylor Swift for “The Man” and The Weeknd for “Blinding Lights.”
