Lady Gaga continues to tease her new album, this time while visiting Z100/New York morning host Elvis Duran. Gaga appeared on Duran’s show this morning and says her as-yet-untitled record is “completely autobiographical, adding, “These songs are implicitly related to things relating to my life.”
She still doesn’t have a release date for the new album, but said that “it’s not very far away” and is still finalizing the songs with producer Mark Ronson this week.
Last week she revealed an eclectic list of collaborators she’d been in the studio with, including Beck, Kevin Parker of Tame Impala and Florence Welch from Florence + The Machine. Gaga told Duran that her and Beck “made this great dance song [and] we just hung out for an hour talking in Malibu talking, just shooting the breeze.”
“Florence and I when we were working together we laughed, we cried, we hugged each other,” she said her collaboration with Welch. Gaga revealed the song is called “Hey Girl” and she recited some of the lyrics in the studio for listeners.
She also talked about her acting career, saying she will appear in the mysterious new season of American Horror Story. As for her upcoming role in Bradley Cooper‘s remake of A Star is Born, Gaga revealed that she will be executive producing the soundtrack to the film.
