Kobe Named Digital Content Director & Imaging/PM Drive at WZNE/94.1 The Zone in Rochester

Programming, digital and on-air veteran Kobe goes full circle (geographically) and lands back in Rochester, his hometown and the locale where he began his successful media career in 1999 at WPXY.

Effective immediately, Kobe has been appointed Digital Content Director & Imaging/afternoon drive guy at WZNE/94.1 The Zone.

Kobe exclusively told DMS, “I’m ecstatic to be joining Stephens Media Group and 94.1 The Zone in my hometown. Special thanks to (OM) Mike McCoy and (PD) Violet for this opportunity. I can’t wait to get back on the air in Rochester.”

Kobe was most recently PD/Digital Content Director at WWHT in Syracuse where he had a productive five-year run. He also had prior programming stints at WAPE/Jacksonville and WBZZ/Pittsburgh.
