Kendrick Lamar‘s DAMN. is at #1 on the Billboard 200 for the third week in a row, giving the rapper his longest run atop the chart in his career. Debuting at #2 is Gorillaz with the anticipated new album Humanz. Gorillaz have the best sales week on the chart with 115,000 units sold. According to Billboard, it’s also the biggest sales week of the animated band’s career. Overall, Humanz totaled 140,000 units. At #3 is another debut, with Mary J. Blige‘s newest release Strength of a Woman. It is the singer’s highest-charting album since 2010. In total, Blige now has 20 albums that have charted in the Billboard 200 throughout her career.
At #4 is Drake‘s More Life, followed by Ed Sheeran at #5 with ÷. The third debut this week comes from the newest in the series of Epic AF Hip Hop compilations. The collection debuts at #6. Bruno Mars is at #7 with the Guardians of the Galaxy, Vol. 2: Awesome Mix Vol. 2 soundtrack at #8. The Chainsmokers come in at #9 while the fourth top ten debut of the week comes from the legendary Willie Nelson and his newest record, God’s Problem Child.
