John Hanson and Charlie Maxx‘s wake up show had become a part of the morning radio landscape in the Wilmington, Delaware market during the past six years on Beasley AC WJBR. But as the world of radio often turns the duo was laid off this week as station management decided to move in “different director,” Charlie Maxx tells FMQB. The duo even took to Facebook live for video to break the news to their loyal listeners.
Maxx, an alumni of FMQB, also served as the station’s Program Director/Music Director. Hanson, the station’s Web Master/Content manager, both are now exploring and open to other opportunities.
