iHeartMedia‘s KSSX (JAM’N 95.7, San Diego’s Hip Hop and R&B station) has announced its new weekday programming lineup effective July 10, 2017.
The changes include: moving Frankie “V” Vinci from afternoon drive to co-host morning drive with Tati Pelegreen; the addition of Nina Chantele in middays; and moving Pablo Sato from morning drive to afternoon drive. The station will continue to play popular Hip Hop and R&B for San Diego music fans.
“In the last year JAM’N 95.7 has experienced significant growth but with Frankie and Tati in mornings, Nina in middays and Pablo in afternoons we expect to take over the market!” said Rob Scorpio, VP of Programming for iHeartMedia-San Diego / Riverside.
JAM’N 95.7 Weekday Lineup:
Frankie & Tati in the Morning / 6 – 10 a.m.
Nina Chantele / 10 a.m. – 3 p.m.
Pablo Sato / 3 – 7 p.m.
Beto Perez / 7 p.m. – 12 Midnight
Frankie “V” Vinci has been the afternoon drive host/MD/APD at JAM’N 95.7 since the station launched in May of 2016. Prior to KSSX, Frankie V worked at JAM’N 94.5 in Boston, Channel 93.3 in San Diego and KISS 95.7 in Hartford, CT.
Tati Pelegreen continues to co-host morning drive at JAM’N 95.7 and will now be joined by Frankie V for the “Frankie & Tati in the Morning” show. Tati began her radio career in KIKI/Honolulu. She moved to the mainland in 2006 after accepting a position at XHTZ/San Diego and in 2013 Tati moved to Washington, D.C. to co-host mornings at WPGC.
Nina Chantele is a media personality with more than 10 years of experience in entertainment. In addition to her new midday show on JAM’N 95.7, Chantele can be heard on Real 92.3 in Los Angeles from 3–7 p.m. Chantele’s radio resume includes WGCI and WKSC in Chicago as well as WMIB/Miami.
Pablo Sato is a Honolulu native whose radio career has taken him to some of the top Hip Hop and R&B stations in the country, including XHTZ/San Diego, KOHT/Tucson and WPGC/Washington, D.C.
Beto Perez began his radio career in 2002 in San Diego. He feels fortunate to enjoy a career that he loves (radio) in the city he loves (San Diego), where he has worked as a producer, on-air announcer and mixer at XHRM, XHTZ and KSSX.
