Jack White tops the Billboard 200 chart with his newest solo record Boarding House Reach. The album earned 124,000 equivalent album units, according to Nielsen Music. Of that total, 121,000 were in traditional album sales, which was the largest week for a rock album so far this year. Only Justin Timberlake had a larger sales week thus far in 2018. Boarding House Reach‘s numbers were bolstered by a concert ticket/album bundle. Unsurprisingly, the record also was a major success on vinyl, selling 27,000 copies. Nielsen Music reports it was the fourth-largest week for a vinyl release since the company began tracking sales in 1991. Of course, White is a major proponent of vinyl via his Third Man Records label.

All three of White’s solo records have now debuted at #1, as 2012’s Blunderbuss and 2014’s Lazaretto both arrived at the top of the chart with essentially identical numbers, according to Billboard.

White was the only new act to debut in the top ten this week. XXXTentacion’s ? is at #2, followed by Black Panther: The Album at #3 and The Greatest Showman soundtrack at #4. Culture II from Migos landed at #5 with Logic‘s Bobby Tarantino II at #6 and Stoney by Post Malone at #7. The top ten was rounded out by Ed Sheeran (#8), Imagine Dragons (#9) and Camila Cabello (#10).
