WMVY/Martha’s Vineyard long-time host & PD and current Director of Worldwide Programming Barbara Dacey announced today that she is stepping away from her position at the Martha’s Vineyard radio station at the end of the year.
Dacey joined mvyradio as a part-time DJ in 1985, became PD in 1993 and took on her current position in 2005, focusing on music-based projects like live streaming performances, long form artist interviews, and station concert events. In 2014, Dacey was appointed to the Friends of mvyradio Board of Directors. She will also take an undefined leave from the Friends of mvyradio Board.
