At Active Rock KQRA (Q102)/Springfield, MO, PD/midday host Shadow Williams is exiting to go back to college. She made the announcement on Facebook, writing, “I’m leaving Q102 and heading into a new career direction. But how awesome is it that I can help you with the transition? I love Q102 immensely. These keys can’t be handed to just anyone.I’m heading back to college. I’m going to have spring break, hit on college boys and have keggers. Or not. I’ll probably just study really hard now that I value my money being spent. I will MISS my radio family like crazy. I am SO lucky to have you guys.”
The Secretly Group, which includes the labels Jagjaguwar, Dead Oceans and Secretly Canadian, has promoted U.S. Radio Director Hannah Carlen to U.S. Marketing Director, replacing Phil Waldorf, who moves to Global Head of Marketing. Carlen will continue to handle radio through the summer, as Secretly conducts its search for a new U.S. Radio Director.
