iHeartMedia has announced that Cristina Mayer has been named Marketing Director for Washington D.C./Baltimore, effective immediately. Mayer will be responsible for developing and creating marketing strategies in order to increase brand awareness, enhance business relationships, and assist with driving in revenue for the region. She will report to Jeff Kapugi, Regional Vice President of Programming for iHeartMedia Washington D.C./Baltimore.
“Cristina’s extensive experience across many different types of media and entertainment organizations made her the perfect person to oversee Marketing & Promotions for iHeartMedia Washington D.C./Baltimore,” said Kapugi.
Mayer joins the Washington D.C./Baltimore region from Mimi Brown Studio in New York City where she most recently served as Production Manager. She has also served as the Director of Marketing for LeadDog Marketing Group in New York City as well as the Manager for Programming and Music Initiatives for Entercom. She began her career at CBS Radio.
