The iHeart Pittsburgh / 96.1 KISS staff in front of the loaded trucks at the end of the week! 82 buses filled a semi-trailer and 4 large box trucks for Toys for Tots!
iHeartMedia Pittsburgh Top 40 WKST (96.1 KISS) announced today that the 20th Annual “Stuff A Bus” toy drive collected 82 school buses worth of toys to benefit The US Marines’ Toys for Tots program. Toys for Tots provides new, unwrapped toys for families in western Pennsylvania. The drive ran from Monday December 2 through today at the Robinson Town Center.
“Stuff A Bus” featured 96.1 KISS on-air personalities Mikey, Bob, Tall Cathy and Justin, who encouraged listeners to bring toys to the parking lot of the shopping center over the week. The team collected over 300 new bicycles, large donations from businesses, a a $10,000 monetary donation from the Penguins foundation and Lady Pens. Over the last 21 Stuff A Bus events; the station has stuffed 873 buses worth of toys to benefit the US Marines’ Toys for Tots.
