Joey Zanetis
iHeartMedia announced today that Joey Zanetis has been named Executive Vice President, Sales, Markets Automotive, effective immediately. He will report to John Karpinski, Executive Vice President Sales and Operations, iHeartMedia Verticals.
“There is no success without a successor, so I’m really excited for Joey to take the reins of the iHeart Automotive Markets Division,” said John Karpinski. “Throughout the years, Joey has not only shown himself to be an amazing leader by driving measurable success for clients and iHeart but has also proven to be great at ‘coaching up’ his team. I’m excited for Joey to build on the success he’s had on the West Coast with our entire Automotive organization.”
Zanetis has spent his entire 17-year career with iHeartMedia, impressing his colleagues and partners as he rose through the ranks. He most recently served as Senior Vice President of Automotive Business Development and Partnerships after first joining the Automotive team as a Vice President, later becoming Division Vice President for the West before elevating to SVP and now EVP. He began his career as an Integrated Media Executive in the iHeartMedia Phoenix market.
