iHeartMedia announced today that Shari Gonzalez has been elevated to Market President, effective immediately, for its Miami/Fort Lauderdale stations.

As Market President, Gonzalez will be responsible for overseeing programming, advertising and operations across iHeartMedia Miami/Fort Lauderdale stations. She will report to Linda Byrd, Division President for iHeartMedia.

Gonzalez has more than 30 years of sales and radio industry experience. She joined iHeartMedia in 2015 and most recently served as the Region SVP of Sales for iHeartMedia-Miami/Fort Lauderdale. Prior to that, she served as General Sales Manager/Director of Sales for CBS in the Washington, D.C. market.
