Christopher Layfield

iHeartMedia Louisville announced today that Christopher Layfield has been named Vice President of Programming overseeing programming for Louisville’s nine iconic stations spanning music, talk and news formats, effective immediately.

As Vice President of Programming, Layfield will lead programming and content strategy to drive audience growth and engagement across Louisville’s broadcast and digital platforms. He will report to Kristy Beebee, Area President for iHeartMedia Louisville.

Layfield joins Louisville from Cumulus, where he most recently served as the Senior Vice President of Programming for Indianapolis. He has also served as the Program Director for WHQC and WLKO in Charlotte, KSLZ in St. Louis and WRVQ in Richmond for iHeartMedia.
