UJA-Federation of New York held its annual Music Visionary of the Year Award Luncheon on Tuesday honoring iHeartMedia executives Bob Pittman, Chairman & Chief Executive Officer; Rich Bressler, President, Chief Operating Officer & Chief Financial Officer; John Sykes, President of Entertainment Enterprises; and Tom Poleman, Chief Programming Officer & President, National Programming Group.
Dan + Shay, Lizzo and Jade Bird electrified a crowd of 700 guests including Sony Music Entertainment’s Rob Stringer, Universal Music Group’s Michele Anthony, Records Founder Barry Weiss, YouTube’s Lyor Cohen, Lava Records’ Jason Flom, Atlantic Records’ Julie Greenwald and Craig Kallman, Hitco Entertainment’s Charles Goldstuck, RCA’s Peter Edge, Warner Records’ Tom Corson, Glassnote Entertainment Group’s Daniel Glass, and 300 Entertainment’s Kevin Liles.
iHeartMedia’s on-air personalities, Angie Martinez from Power 105.1’s “The Angie Martinez Show” and Bobby Bones from the nationally syndicated “The Bobby Bones Show” emceed the event and Judy McGrath presented the award.
The sold-out event took place at The Pierre Hotel in New York and raised $1.6 million to benefit UJA-Federation.
