iHeartMedia has promoted Kavi Halemane to EVP and General Manager of Digital Programming for iHeartRadio.
As EVP and General Manager of Digital Programming for iHeartRadio, Halemane will be responsible for overseeing iHeartRadio’s strategy/operations for Original Digital Music Station Programming, On-Demand Subscription Playlist and Free Playlist Radio curation, Podcast Programming and will report to Chris Williams, Chief Product Officer for iHeartRadio.
Halemane manages a team of expert music and podcast programmers, working closely with iHeartRadio’s Marketing, Editorial/Social and Sales teams to connect music fans, partners and artists with exclusive iHeartRadio content.
Previously, Halemane served as the Vice President of Premiere Digital Media where he led the revamp of its digital network, an effort that helped to more than double Premiere Networks’ digital audience in 2016. He also previously served as the Executive Vice President and Head of Digital for The Collective, an Artist/Talent management firm, as well as the Vice President of Marketing for the YouTube Multi-Channel Network Collective Digital Studio, now known as Studio71 US. In addition, Helamane held a variety of digital, marketing and product management roles at Interscope Geffen A&M Records/Universal Music Group.
