Cheron Sanders
iHeartMedia Urban AC WMXD (Mix 92.3)/Detroit announced today that Cheron Sanders has been elevated to Program Director, effective immediately. She will report to Bill Black, Director of Urban Programming for iHeartMedia Detroit’s 97.9 WJLB and Mix 92.3.
As Program Director for Mix 92.3, Sanders will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the station’s music, on-air personalities, programming, promotions and digital operations.
Sanders is a media veteran and has a proven track record of success. She previously served as Assistant Program Director for iHeartMedia Detroit’s 97.9 WJLB and Mix 92.3. She joined iHeartMedia in 2001 and has since held various positions while working for 97.9 WJLB and Mix 92.3 including traffic reporter and midday host. She began her career at WQHH-FM
