iHeartMedia-Austin announced today the debut of ALT 97.5, The New Alternative, effective immediately. The frequency formerly was KASE-FM-HD2-K248CU (97.5 Pride Radio, airing iHeart’s LGBTQ “Pride Radio” format
ALT 97.5 launches with 5,000 songs commercial-free and feature artists such as Foo Fighters, Imagine Dragons, Weezer, Muse and more.
The station will also feature the syndicated “Woody Show” on weekday and Saturday mornings.
