iHeartMedia announced today that Joe Albrecht has been named SVP/Programming for Alaska, effective immediately. He will report to Jeff Hurley, Executive Vice President of Programming for iHeartMedia Alaska.

Albrecht has been a vital part of the iHeart Alaska team for more than 25 years, most recently serving as the Program Director for 650 KENI, 100.5 The Fox and Fox Sports 550 The Zone, where he also served as on-air talent. His extensive career began at Ingstad Broadcasting in Anchorage, and he has since been instrumental in shaping the market’s landscape.
