Nashville is reeling from the deadliest tornado outbreak in the city’s history. In the overnight hours on Tuesday, March 3rd, an EF-3 tornado ripped through Germantown, North Nashville, East Nashville, Lebanon, and Mt. Juliet, claiming 24 lives, destroying dozens of businesses, and displacing hundreds if not thousands of families. If you’re inclined to help Music City, iHeartRadio Nashville and WRVW (107.5 the River) is working hand-in-hand with community organizations to help get affected individuals back on their feet. There is a licensed t-shirt via the Nashville TN Store, with 100% of the profits benefiting the Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee.

In just over 24 hours, the shirt has already raised over $250,000 for victims and their families, with a goal of reaching $1 million by the end of the month. In addition, the iHeart offices are collecting supply donations in partnership with The Goodness Project to deliver to those in need. If you’re in Nashville, you can drop off items at 55 Music Square W, and we will accept donations via Amazon Prime as well. Items needed include non-perishable food items, bottled water, diapers, hygiene products, toiletries, pet supplies, and other basic essentials.
