Harry Styles and Lizzo won big while Beyoncé made history on “Music’s Biggest Night” In Los Angeles, at the 65th Grammy Awards, hosted by Trevor Noah on Sunday night.
Styles won Album of the Year for Harry’s House, Lizzo took home Record of the Year for “Special.” Bonnie Raitt won Song of the Year for “Just Like That” while Jazz vocalist Samara Joy won Best New Artist.
Beyoncé made Grammy history by winning four more Grammys winning for Best Dance/Electronic Album, Best R&B Song, Best Traditional R&B Performance, and Best Dance/Electronic Recording. She now holds the record for the most Grammys totaling 32.
Kim Petras became the first trans woman to win Best Pop Duo/Group Collaboration for her collaboration with Sam Smith on “Unholy.” Madonna was also on hand and introduced the duo’s performance of their #1 hit.
The night featured some outstanding performances. Bad Bunny opened the show followed by Brandi Carlile, Harry Styles, Lizzo, Stevie Wonder with Smokey Robinson and more. A stellar tribute to Hip-Hop’s 50th Anniversary featured LL Cool J, Rakim, Chuck D, Queen Latifah, Salt-n-Pepa, Run-DMC, Lil Wayne, and Lil Baby among others.

Other award winners included: Kendrick Lamar who dominated the Rap categories, winning Best Rap Song and Performance for “The Heart Part 5,” as well as Best Rap Album for Mr. Morale and the Big Steppers. Willie Nelson was awarded Best Country Album for A Beautiful Time, also taking home Best Country Solo Performance for “Live Forever.” Adele won Best Pop Solo Performance for “Easy on Me.” Styles’ Harry House also won for Best Pop Vocal Album.
Some first time winners included Steve Lacy for Best Progressive R&B Album for Gemini Rights, Muni Long for Best R&B Performance for “Hrs and Hrs,” and Cody Johnson for Best Country Song for “‘Till You Can’t.” Ashley McBryde shared Best Country Duo/Group Performance for “Never Wanted to Be That Girl” with another first-time winner, Carly Pearce.
Brandi Carlile won for Best Rock Song and Performance for “Broken Horses” while Ozzy Osbourne won Best Rock Album for Patient Number 9.
Taylor Swift who was up for four awards with “All Too Well: The Short Film (10 Minute Version)” did win a Grammy for Best Music Video.
