Halsey earns her first #1 album this week as Hopeless Fountain Kingdom debuts atop the Billboard 200 chart.  Her sophomore record totaled 106,000 equivalent album units, 76,000 were in traditional album sales, according to Nielsen Music. Halsey’s debut album, Badlands, debuted and peaked at #2.  The singer-songwriter saw her star rise thanks to her vocals on The Chainsmokers’ smash hit “Paris.”

DAMN. from Kendrick Lamar is at #2, with the Epic AF compilation at #3 and the deluxe anniversary edition of The Beatles‘ classic Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band at #4.

Country singer Luke Combs debuts at #5 with his debut full-length album This One’s For You. More Life from Drake is at #6, followed by Ed Sheeran (#7) and the Summer Latin Hits 2017 collection (#8).  Veteran alt-rockers All Time Low debut at #9 with Last Young Renegade and the top ten is rounded out with Bruno Mars and 24K Magic.
