Veteran rapper Future debuts at #1 on the Billboard 200 with the largest week of any artist so far in 2022. His new album I Never Liked You earned 220,000 equivalent album units, according to Luminate. It is also Future’s largest week for a solo album, as his collaborative set with Drake, What a Time to Be Alive, bowed at #1 with 375,000 units back in 2015. Overall, I Never Liked You is Future’s 15th top 10 album on the Billboard 200.
Jumping from #35 to #2 on this week’s chart is Dawn FM from The Weeknd, which Billboard reports is due to the vinyl LP, cassette and boxed set versions of the album. Country mainstay Miranda Lambert debuts at #4 with Palomino, the seventh top 10 album of her career, and rapper NoCap arrives at #8 with Mr. Crawford.
At #3 is Dangerous: The Double Album from Morgan Wallen, with Olivia Rodrigo‘s Sour at #5, Lil Durk at #6 with 7220 and the Encanto soundtrack at #7. The top 10 is rounded out with Drake at #9 and Doja Cat at #10.
