Foo Fighters, The Roots, Demi Lovato, Miley Cyrus, Dave Matthews, The Lumineers, Phoebe Bridgers and Finneas are among the many artists announced for the Save Our Stages virtual festival. The three-day event will take place online next week, from October 16-18, from a variety of venues across the country.

Hosted by comedian/musician Reggie Watts, the event will livestream on the National Independent Venue Association‘s (NIVA) official YouTube channel, with some performances simultaneously airing on the individual artists’ YouTube channels.

The Save Our Stages Fest (aka #SOSFEST) is in support of NIVA’s Save Our Stages initiative, with the goal of encouraging viewers to donate to the NIVA Emergency Relief Fund, benefitting independent venues in danger of closing due to the coronavirus pandemic.

In a statement, Dave Grohl said, “The smaller music venues and the ones that are really struggling are not only culturally important, they are emotionally important.”

Other acts slated for the Save Our Stages Fest include Portugal. The Man, Rise Against, Brittany Howard, Marshmello, Dillon Francis, Kelsea Ballerini, Monica, Reba McEntire, among others. For more details, visit saveourstages.com. Watch a trailer for the #SOSFEST below:
