We wanted to unveil a new feature by paying homage to a dear old friend. In the spring of 1968 FMQB was founded and launched by industry legend Kal Rudman. In the Spring of 2008, FMQB CEO Fred Deane decided it was time to celebrate FMQB’s benchmark 40th Anniversary.
Over 2,500 radio and music industry professionals descended upon Philadelphia to participate in symposiums during the day, and the big event in the evening where Career and Lifetime Achievement awards were presented to scores of deserving professionals.
Here is a pictorial flashback of that storied event!
