Columbia Records has named Erika Alfredson Senior Vice President of Marketing, it was announced today by Jenifer Mallory, General Manager for Columbia Records, to whom Erika reports. Most recently Erika was Vice President of Marketing for Columbia. Erika is based in Columbia’s Los Angeles office and will head the West Coast Marketing team.
“Erika has served as a key architect for many of Columbia’s marquee artist campaigns over the years that have yielded tremendous results,” stated Mallory. “Her competitive spirit, dedication, and drive will continue to be an asset for the entire label as she takes on a larger role advancing strategy with the wider team. All of Columbia joins me in congratulating Erika on this well-deserved promotion.”

Erika was appointed Vice President of Marketing for Columbia in 2016. Prior to that position, she was Senior Director of Marketing for Columbia, appointed in 2013. From 2012 to 2013 Erika was Director of Marketing for Columbia. Throughout her Columbia Records tenure, Erika has spearheaded successful campaigns for Adele, Beyoncé, Diplo, Jack White, Arcade Fire, Depeche Mode, and others. Erika was appointed Marketing Manager for the label in 2011. She joined the Sony family of labels in 2005 as retail marketing representative working out of the West Coast office for Sony Music Label Group. Erika was included in the 2018 Billboard Magazine power player list, 40 Under 40.
