Entercom has announced that Nicholaus “Niko” Petrou is the new morning co-host for KMLE (Country @ 107.9)/Phoenix. The station also announced that the morning show was renamed as “The Breakfast Buzz.” Niko joins Nina D. on the morning show which airs weekdays from 5:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. MT.
“Niko brings incredible talent and passion for the industry to KMLE, along with his love for country music,” said Dave Pugh, SVP/Market Manager, Entercom Phoenix. “We are looking forward to seeing him and Nina D. elevate mornings in Phoenix with their combined energy and drive.”

Prior to KMLE, Niko held a variety of roles at sister station WBMP-FM, including APD/MD and midday on-air personality. Previously, he was the evening on-air host for WHTZ-FM in New York.
