Miguel “Mijo” Irizarry
Entercom has announced the appointment of Miguel “Mijo” Irizarry to the role of Program Director at Top 40 WPOW (Power 96) in Miami, effective immediately. Mijo will also host the station’s midday timeslot, weekdays from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. ET. He previously hosted the station’s evening drive.
“Mijo’s passion for radio and for Power 96 is unmatched,” said Keriann Worley, Senior Vice President and Market Manager, Entercom South Florida. “We are pleased to elevate him to the role of Program Director and look forward to the station’s continued growth under his leadership.”

Mijo joined Power 96 in August 2017. He has held on-air roles for sister station Today’s Hits 96.5 TDY (then Wired 96.5) in Philadelphia and Hot 104.7 in Portland, ME, where he also served as the station’s Music Director.
