Entercom announced today the expansion of LGBTQ+ Talk Radio Network CHANNEL Q to Dallas-Fort Worth, Denver, Kansas City, San Diego, and Washington D.C., and an additional station in San Francisco. CHANNEL Q is the premiere LGBTQ+ Talk Radio Network dedicated to celebrating the LGBTQ+ community and their allies. The network brings the latest in LGBTQ+ news and information, pop culture and new music to listeners on air in a total of 19 local markets and via the RADIO.COM app nationwide.

To kick off the launch of CHANNEL Q, the network will host live events in both coasts. In San Francisco, 1550 AM kicked off the festivities with “Drop the Subject” co-hosts and Bay Area residents Ally Johnson and Jarret Hill at Brewcade in the world-famous Castro District on June 2. The show will broadcast live from the 1550 AM studios on June 3 and 4 from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. PT. CHANNEL Q is also available on Alice @ 97.3 HD2 (KLLC-FM) in San Francisco.
In Washington D.C, “Dumb Gay Politics + Everything Else,” hosted by Julie Goldman and Brandy Howard, will broadcast live all week from the Entercom streetside studio in the nation’s capital, including a special broadcast to kick off Pride Month on June 4 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. ET. The broadcast will also be streamed on RADIO.COM.
CHANNEL Q’s resident DJ Alex D. will represent CHANNEL Q and support Denver Pride by spinning music at two festival parties on June 15 and 16 from 10:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m. MT.
