Kenny Jay
Entercom has announced Kenny Jay has been named Program Director of Country WUSN (US*99). Jay will oversee programming for the country station and will report directly to Todd Cavanah, VP/Programming, Entercom Chicago. Cavanah will continue as Program Director of WBBM-FM (B96) and the newly launched WBMX (Jams 104.3 FM).
“Kenny has extensive knowledge of the country music market and I’m confident that with him on board, US*99 will continue as the number one choice for Chicago country music fans,” said Jimmy de Castro, SVP/Market Manager, Entercom Chicago.
“US*99 is legendary and I am thrilled to be part of this team of talented individuals,” remarked Jay. “I’m thankful for the opportunity and look forward to taking on this new role.”
Prior to joining US*99, Jay was the Program Director for KMPS-FM in Seattle. In 2012, Jay joined KMNB-FM in Minneapolis as APD and was later elevated to PD in 2014.
