Eminem surprised fans overnight with a brand new album titled Kamikaze. The only hint of new music from Em on the way was a teaser yesterday for a track related to the upcoming Tom Hardy movie Venom about the Spider-Man villain. The track “Venom (Music from the Motion Picture)” does close out Kamikaze.
The artwork for the record is notably a homage to the Beastie Boys‘ classic Licensed to Ill. Kamikaze features cameos and contributions from Joyner Lucas, Royce Da 5’9″ and Jessie Reyez and was executive produced by Eminem and Dr. Dre.
In a tweet announcing the album, Eminem simply wrote, “Tried not 2 overthink this 1… enjoy.”
