For the second week in a row, Drake‘s Certified Lover Boy is #1 on the Billboard 200 album chart. According to MRC Data, Certified Lover Boy earned 236,000 equivalent album units last week, making it Drake’s fourth album to spend multiple weeks at #1.
Donda from Kanye West remains at #2, followed by a debut from Country-Pop artist Kacey Musgraves at #3 with Star-Crossed. Musgraves’ latest earned 77,000 equivalent album units during its first week of availability. Olivia Rodrigo is at #4 with Sour, while rapper Baby Keem has the second-highest debut of the week with his first release The Melodic Blue coming in at #5.
Doja Cat is at #6, with The Kid LAROI at #7 and Morgan Wallen at #8. Metallica‘s self-titled Black Album climbs to #9 thanks to its 30th anniversary reissue. Billboard notes that all tracks and editions of the re-release were combined for chart purposes, as it is available in multiple formats with different tracklists. The Black Album is the top-selling album in the U.S. starting in the Soundscan era of 1991.
Billie Eilish rounds out the top 10 with Happier Than Ever.
