Northeast Broadcasting announced Donald St. Sauveur, currently General Manager of WXRV/Boston, has been promoted to Chief Operating Officer of the company, with oversight for WXRV The River-Boston, WNCS/Vermont (The Point) and sister stations. Independently owned and operated, both WXRV and WNCS are Adult Album Alternative (Triple A) stations, playing a mix of Alternative, Acoustic, Blues, Folk, Reggae, and other genres of music. St. Sauveur has been General Manager of WXRV since 2008. In his new role, St. Sauveur will be responsible for programming and sales at all New England stations. He will continue the Legacy of community outreach and involvement.
“Both 92.5 The River and 104.7 The Point have a strong history in local programming and community focus. The station’s longstanding commitment to independent local decision making has allowed the stations to serve the interests of the local community,” said St. Sauveur. “It’s truly been a dream job over the past ten years and I’m looking forward to this new role.”
Prior to his role with 92.5 The River, St. Sauveur was Director of National Sales for Entercom Boston and Director of National Sales for the American Radio Systems Boston cluster. St. Sauveur is a graduate of Boston University.
