Christopher “Boomer” Layfield, Operations Manager, Cumulus Media-Indianapolis, said: “Kash has proven he’s got what it takes to lead and played a critical programming role before my arrival in Indy. The opportunity to reward him with an elevation to Assistant Program Director is a well-deserved move, allowing us to continue to use his strengths to advance the WFMS brand and bolster the roster of talent at Cumulus-Indianapolis.”

Kashner said: “Being named APD for a legendary station like WFMS is truly an honor. I look forward to working under the leadership of Boomer, Tom Stemlar and Doug Hamand and growing as a programmer. Quite a thrill for a hometown boy!”
