Christopher “Boomer” Layfield
Cumulus Media has announced that it has appointed Christopher “Boomer” Layfield as Operations Manager for its three-station group in Indianapolis, IN, and Program Director for Country-formatted WFMS-FM. Layfield heads to Indianapolis from Charlotte, NC, where he was Program Director for iHeartMedia. He has also held programming positions in markets including: St. Louis, MO, Richmond, VA, San Diego, CA, and Nashville, TN.
