Cumulus Media has announced that Hot AC WWWM-FM, formerly branded as Star 105, has been re-branded as the new Channel 105.5. The station introduced its new name, logo and website (www.channel1055.com) on Friday (4/1), 2016. The rebrand does not impact the station’s format or on-air-lineup, which will continue to feature: 6am-10am: Denny Schaffer Show. 10am-3pm: Tim Graves. 3pm-7pm: Johny D and 7pm-12am: Adam Bomb.
Andy Stuart, Regional Vice President and Market Manager, Cumulus Media-Toledo said: “The Star name never took hold in the market and did not convey all of the improvements we made to the station, especially the announcers and music selection. The brand name Channel gives us a real opportunity to show that we are making Toledo radio great again. ”
